Sorry to hear about this change in plan. It is a shame. Please keep our donation -- put it towards your "05 Project" expenses. We enjoy your daily videos.

that sucks. I'm really sorry that paypal has such a screwy system. Well that means you won't have to worry about your project if you were away.

Why not take the train!? It's so fast and fun! Aight aight, enuff of my silly suggestions...

...but, you do realize that for your US doners, the dollar has declined since donating. For example, I donated 5 pounds which was equal to 9 dollars and 15 cents. Well, at this very moment in time, 5 pounds is now equal to 9 dollars and 12 cents. So when you refund me, assuming tonight, I'll be jipped by 3 cents. So you ARE a con-artist! Smart man! Too bad 3 cents is equal to .016 pents (pence?). What can that get you? ha!

I'm j/k, shit happens. That sucks you can't go. Have fun in college!

Such is life. I guess I don't get to live vicariously through you and your trip.

No worries. Send it back when you can, we can split the paypal fees :)

Ian,

Sorry to hear that you can't go. I was looking forward to seeing you have a great vacation.

Please keep my donation and apply it to your hosting fees or buy something stupid on eBay as a consolation to missing your trip.

Giving the money back is not worth loosing the transaction fees and exchange rate depreciation.

Have a good day!

that's so said Ian, but you seem to be handling it the best way possible.

Sorry to hear about the whole ordeal. Just curious though, do you have a credit card? if not, I think it's time to get one-- not for buying a mass load of stuff that you can't offord, like so many people do, but for situations like this one. Take care. B

Ha! I don't think I could trust myself with a credit card...

Also, Thank's everyone who has commented so far!

That. Fucking. Killed Me.

I think we all have to crash your house for your last video of the year.

And you think I'm kidding. You don't live in the middle of nowhere, you know.

Hey Ian, I don't know if paypal offers these in the UK, but in Canada and US you can get a paypal "Mastercard". It works just like a mastercard but the money comes out of your paypal account instead of going on credit. Of course, since it's a card, you can spend your money instantly anywhere in the world that accepts mastercard. no 7 day wait. Check it out. It might be a solution to quicker access to your paypal funds. I use my paypal mastercard to pay for my hosting every month :)
